From signature fundraising events to powerful awareness campaigns to community drives, each event reflects our mission to promote healing and prevention.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month and throughout the month ChicagoCAC features special events and activities to increase prevention education and promote awareness.

Luminary Award Dinner
In the spring, hundreds of professionals, community leaders, and other supporters join us to recognize a special luminary for lighting the path toward hope and healing for children.Â
Benefit Poetry Slam (SLAM4SAAM)
Hosted by Sexual Assault Speak Out (SASO) in April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, this event features dynamic performances by sexual assault survivors, family members, and others impacted by abuse. Proceeds benefit Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center.Â
Summer Events
Back to School Backpack Drive
Each new school year, we provide new backpacks filled with school supplies to ChicagoCAC clients and their families. By providing them with the right tools, we help our kids succeed in school and give their parents one less thing to worry about.
Fall and Winter Events
A Night of Heroes
Each fall, hundreds of people join us to raise funds and support children and families served at ChicagoCAC. The evening includes food, drinks, a silent auction, and raffles.
Holiday Toy Drive
ChicagoCAC hosts an annual Holiday Toy Drive for more than 600 clients, their siblings, and caregivers to celebrate the spirit of the season and ensure that families have gifts for the holidays.
