Donations are now closed for this year’s toy drive, but you can still help our kids by making a donation to support our work.

Every year, Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center distribute thousands of toys to children and their families who come to our center after experiencing sexual abuse and other trauma. Many families have challenges beyond their recent trauma, and providing holiday gifts for their children can be one more source of stress. Be part of a family’s hope and healing journey by donating to our Holiday Toy Drive!

Here are some ideas for how to share gifts with children:

Host a Toy Drive at your office, church, or social group:

  • Deliver newly purchased and unwrapped toys/gift cards directly to the center (1240 South Damen Avenue in Chicago).

Make a cash donation to ChicagoCAC:

Cash donations allow the staff at ChicagoCAC to complete wish list purchases for children they personally know.  Just $25 can provide toys like dolls, science kits, and sensory toys for younger children, or games, makeup and gift cards for teens!

Due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic, Kids’ Holiday Week – an evening of activities, treats and “shopping” (free of charge) for gifts – at the Center has been modified, but caregivers will still have an opportunity to “shop” for gifts for their children at the Center.

The Holiday Toy Drive is possible through the generous support of individuals and organizations like you who collect the thousands of gift cards, new toys, games, and other gifts we distribute. We hope that you can help us grant wishes this holiday season! Questions? Email
