Due to the nature of our work and upholding the privacy of those we serve, media is not allowed on our campus without prior authorization.

Directions: We are located in the heart of the UIC Medical District at the intersection of Damen and Washburne. The entrance to our free parking lot is off of Washburne.

Please note that all clients must be referred to ChicagoCAC through the Department of Children and Family Services or Chicago Police Department. If you suspect a child is being abused, call the child abuse hotline 1-800-25-ABUSE (1-800-252-2873) or 911.

Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center (ChicagoCAC) is an independent not-for-profit agency and is not the keeper of any investigative or medical records. Any subpoenas directed to ChicagoCAC for investigative or medical records will be returned with the below listed information. Subpoenas and requests for records must be sent to our mailing address via USPS mail or other delivery service. We will not respond to requests and subpoenas sent by fax or email without prior agreement.

Reporting Numbers

If your safety is threatened or you are facing immediate danger, please call 911 or head to your nearest emergency room or police station. To report suspected child abuse in Illinois, call 1-800-25-ABUSE (1-800-252-2873).
