Responding to Abuse Training
ChicagoCAC’s next free Responding to Abuse training will be Tuesday, January 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the center. As our signature training, Responding to Abuse equips professionals, caregivers and other adults to identify child sexual abuse and take action. The training covers definitions of abuse, warning signs, behaviors to watch out for, the impacts of trauma and how ChicagoCAC helps children and families.Â

PBC: ChicagoCAC Expansion Project Video
Public Building Commission of Chicago created this beautiful video to show what our new addition means to kids and families in our city. PBC served as the developer for our project, coordinated the design and procurement and managed construction of the addition on behalf of the City of Chicago. The city’s commitment of $9 million in funding from the Western/Ogden TIF district supported the project, and ChicagoCAC’s Growing & Giving campaign is raising an additional $2.5 million in private funding through 2018.
