More than 95% of the children who come through our doors know their abuser personally – he or she is a family member, friend, babysitter, coach, teacher or other trusted adult or youth. As adults, we are responsible for watching out for children. If a person seems too good to be true, ask more questions to be sure they have the right intentions. Learn more in our resources section.
