We exist 2016 Press Conference

“For many, child sexual abuse prevention brings to mind ‘stranger danger.’ In fact, more than 95% of the children we see at ChicagoCAC were abused by someone they knew, trusted and had permission to be around. That’s why it’s so important for adults to be informed about the realities of abuse and ways to keep children safe. Today, I urge you to join us in taking the first steps to prevent child sexual abuse.” – Char Rivette, ChicagoCAC Executive Director

At our press conference, Char called for adults to take action to keep children safe. Thank you to Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans, Judge Grace G. Dickler and Nfl Alumni-Chicago for speaking about the importance of preventing child sexual abuse and taking action when a child needs help! ‪#‎WeExist‬
