Community Outreach

The community outreach program conducts and coordinates presentations to parent groups on issues related to addressing child sexual abuse within their families. In addition, the program coordinates Project Not My Child, a campaign designed to raise awareness of sexual abuse in communities throughout Chicago. A toll-free phone line, 1-877-703-HOPE has been set up to answer questions about child sexual abuse. The Center conducts outreach into various communities, talking with professionals and community leaders that work with children and parents to raise awareness about the existence of sexual abuse and the availability of the 1-877-703-HOPE information line.
