Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart visited the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center on Thursday, December 3rd. Sheriff Dart toured the CCAC’s child-friendly facilities, learning about how all relevant agencies come together to investigate cases of alleged child abuse in one place, minimizing traumatic impact on the child. Sheriff Dart, who was recently recognized by Time Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people of 2009, will also serve as a keynote speaker and one of the honorees at the CCAC’s 2010 Founders Luncheon.
