Annual CCAC Kid’s Holiday Party A Huge Success!
Hundreds of CCAC kids and their families gathered on December 8 at St. Ignatius College Prep for the annual Kid’s Holiday Party. The festivities included arts and crafts, cookie decorating, face painting, games and prizes, lunch, dancing, and of course – a visit with Santa.
As a result of toys drives throughout the Chicagoland area, each child took home several gifts, chosen and wrapped especially for them. In addition, children had the opportunity to shop at the Paulette Abraham Parent’s Store to pick out gifts for their caregivers. The late Paulette Abraham was the driving force and visionary behind the CCAC Kid’s Holiday Party, and each year the Center celebrates her legacy through the continuation of this annual event.
Special thanks to those who helped to make this year’s party such a wonderful and warm celebration, including everyone who donated toys and gift cards, and the volunteers who donated their time and compassion.
Our deepest appreciation goes to St. Ignatius College Prep for once again donating the space, and to HoMedics, whose generous support enabled us to host this year’s party and continue the legacy of Paulette Abraham.
