On April 1, the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center will honor both Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart and Dick Devine for their advocacy and work on behalf of Chicago’s children. The annual Founders Luncheon will take place in the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Chicago on the first day of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The Inaugural Tad Carr Foundation Award will be presented to Grant Health Care Foundation, a long-time supporter of the CCAC’s Mental Health Program. Since 2002, the Foundation has awarded the CCAC seven grants totaling $290,000 for the program. The recipient of the John E. Rooney Corporate Citizenship Award will be announced at the luncheon.
