Reception Assistant
Purpose: To help children and families feel welcome while they wait at reception.
Description: During the evening hours the reception area gets very busy with families and children awaiting services. It is very important that all of our clients feel comfortable and welcome while they are at the center. The reception assistant would tend to the needs of those waiting, which would include but not be limited to providing beverages and snacks, accompanying children and families around the building, and supervising children outside in the playground.
Administrative Volunteer
Purpose: To support the staff with minor clerical duties
Description: This is a very important support opportunity that reaches out to every department. The main duties are light clerical which could include filing, making copies, and mass mailings. The hourly commitment is very flexible and can be done on a project by project basis. This is a perfect opportunity for busy individuals that still want to be involved in the center.
External Affairs Assistant
Purpose: To support the External Affairs department
Description: This is a perfect opportunity for a college or grad student that wants to get a glimpse of the exciting behind the scenes action of a busy non profit organization.
