Theresa M. Olson

Theresa M. Olson is the Chief External Affairs Officer for the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center and oversees all communications, marketing, public relations and fundraising activities including the annual fund, database management, government relations, major gifts, corporate and foundation relations and capital campaign activities.

Before joining the CCAC, Theresa was Development Research Manager for Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. Prior to entering the non-profit arena, Theresa worked for ten years in the market research industry, within the corporate sector, where her most recent post was Associate Director of Data Collection for Fact Flow Research. Theresa holds a B.A. in Marketing Communications from Columbia College of Chicago and is a member of Association of Fundraising Professionals International. She has completed numerous workshops and seminars hosted by APRA (Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement) and the Donors Forum of Chicago.
